Guaranteed RAM
What is the actual main difference between the hosting industry-related terms ?regular RAM? and ?guaranteed RAM??
RAM, or Random Access Memory, is a type of computer data storage, that allows the information to be read randomly without accessing the preceding bytes before that. This makes the RAM a lot quicker than other kinds of storage devices including DVDs or HDDs where all the info has to be read so that you can access particular info. If you have a shared hosting account, the amount of memory your web apps can use may not be fixed and may frequently depend upon the free memory that's available on the physical machine. When using a standalone hosting server, however, there is always a minimum amount of physical memory which shall be readily available at all times and will not be allotted to other clients even when it isn't in use. That's valid with our virtual and dedicated web servers.

Guaranteed RAM in VPS Hosting
The physical memory that you will get with each
virtual private server we offer you is guaranteed and shall be available at all times even when you do not use it for a long period of time. Every VPS account features fixed system resources and runs in an isolated container separately from the rest of the accounts on the physical web server, so even if some account starts running out of memory, we will never allocate some of your memory to that account. We also never distribute the entire physical memory on the hardware node among the virtual accounts created on it, in order to ensure that it will never run out of memory. In this way, there shall always be free RAM if you want to upgrade your package and we guarantee the flawless functioning of the physical machine.

Guaranteed RAM in Dedicated Web Hosting
All of our
dedicated server packages come with a massive amount of physical memory, which will enable you to run really heavy web applications without any problems. We use new and extensively tested hardware components when we set up a new hosting server to guarantee that there will never be any troubles of any sort. The RAM memory is not an exception and when you get a dedicated server, we will make sure that you get the best general performance possible from the configuration you have picked out. Even if we identify that you aren't using the total capacity of the hosting server, we shall not alter the hardware in any way, so the amount of RAM that will be readily available will always be the same. You can easily check the configuration, including the physical memory, in your billing CP at any time.
